The Annual SASP Photo Competition 2025 that will eventually result in next year's Getting Outside in Somerset Calendar 2026 is now open!
The objective being to showcase the glorious outdoor environment Somerset has to offer and encourage people to get outside and savour it. Whilst all manor of outdoor photos (landscapes, animals, weather events etc) are encouraged, the judges this year will give a slight extra weighting to photos that highlight people being active or places to be active.
Entry is open to all, pictures with smartphones are perfect. In order to ensure the highest quality printing, please ensure that you choose the highest format available when emailing entries, ideally at least 750kb. The only rules are:
Photos must feature Somerset and it's outdoor environment
The photo must be yours
Any person identifiable in the photo must have given permission for it's entry and possible publication.
Email your entries to Stewart Collins at scollins@sasp.co.uk. There is no limit to the number of entries any person can make.

Deadline for entries: Midnight Sunday 16th November and we anticipate the Calendar being available for purchase by the beginning of December. All profits from the Calendars will go to the Beacon Cancer Care Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital.
