Today (Saturday 18th October) marks World Menopause Day!
This is an important day that's relevant to everyone. Why? Because whether you are going through it yourself, not yet, or never will, there's likely a loved one, a mum, wife, sister, auntie, friend, or colleague who is.
Menopause is a natural phase in every person's life, yet it's often misunderstood and under-discussed. This year, In it Together Somerset have been working with Taunton Deane West Primary Care Network, Spartan Chamber Gym (Wellington), and instructor Kelly Norman to break down barriers and champion physical activity as a powerful way to manage peri and menopausal symptoms.

We've had the pleasure of meeting a fantastic group of women, all juggling everyday life, work, and their well-being, who had previously felt isolated or unsure about how to manage their symptoms, until they tried MenoFit. It's been inspiring to see how the sessions have made a real, positive impact on their lives.
By raising awareness, we can help create a culture where conversations about menopause are normalised. Menopause Awareness Day encourages workplaces, families, and communities to foster understanding, challenge stigma, and provide meaningful support.
Let's keep talking, learning, and supporting each other because menopause is a journey we can all help make easier.
