"A massive thank you for all the support my 11-year-old daughter, "E," received through HHH. E has Autism and ADHD and had a really tough time starting secondary school. Things became so overwhelming that she had to move schools, which was a big and scary step for her and her family.
Thanks to her time at HHH, E was able to walk into her new school, a completely unfamiliar environment with new children, and believe she could handle it. The confidence she gained from the sessions gave her the courage to take that leap.

About HHH
Happy Healthy Holidays Somerset (HHH) takes place over the Winter, Easter and Summer school holidays and are enriching activity clubs for children aged 5 - 16, who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals across Somerset. Over the winter break, young people can access provision for 4 days with food included. Provision will be running from Monday 30th December - Friday 3rd January (not running on 1st Jan due to bank holiday).
This funding has been made available by Somerset Council as part of the Government programme which has provided healthy food and enriching activities to disadvantaged children since 2018 and is now being expanded across the whole of England. The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, now named the Happy Healthy Holidays Somerset Programme, is funded by the Department for Education. Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership (SASP) is coordinating the programme and managing the grant making process.
