Holiday Activities & Food Programme - For Providers & Schools
During the Winter, Easter and Summer school holidays, SASP and Somerset Council join forces to deliver fun, enriching activities along with healthy food, under the name 'Happy Healthy Holidays Somerset'.
HHHS provides funding to enable local groups to deliver a variety of holiday activities including food to children eligible for benefits-related free school meals across Somerset.
In June 2022, Minister Will Quince wrote to all schools explaining the importance of the Holiday Activity and Food programme, and how schools can support children and families to get involved and access opportunities.
