Inclusive Family Roller Skating Session - Taunton

Get Active Together

We are excited to announce the date for our Inclusive Family Roller Skating Session during the Easter holidays! This will take place on Thursday 9th April from 1pm to 2:30pm at Wellsprings Leisure Centre, Taunton, TA2 7QP.

This session will include some basic skills practice, such as how to skate and stop safely, as well as the opportunity to have fun while free skating and attempting some optional challenges.

This session is for young people aged 8 to 18 years with a disability and their families, with the cost being £5.00 per young person and £2.50 for participating parents/carers.

If you have your own skates, helmet and protective padding, we ask that you please bring these to the session. If this isn’t the case, equipment can be supplied. Skates, helmets and protective padding (wrist guards, elbow pads and knee pads) are available to hire from Eleven Roller Disco.

For safety purposes, helmets and wrist guards are mandatory and individuals will not be able to take part without wearing these.

You will receive an email closer to the time with further information about the session, including what to bring and what to wear.

If you have any questions about this session, the booking process or your personal requirements, please contact us on NSnow@sasp.co.uk or 01823 653990.

Adults are not required to participate, but are welcome to do so if they wish. If you intend to skate alongside your child(ren), please purchase a space and complete a booking form for yourself. If your account is set as a carer, the parent/carer discount will be applied automatically at the time of booking.

The photo consent question is designed for child bookings, however, for any parent/carer bookings please indicate whether you are happy to be photographed.
